You're going to Paris and need suave, sophisticated men deep inside you. Although many French  men speak English, Paris is a melting pot with men from all over the world. So, how do you pick  men up if you can't speak their language? Today, we'll use the universal language of love-making  (or, as some call it, body language).

A Few Essentials

Before we get into it, I need to mention a few things. These tips only work at gay cruise bars.  Paris has several all-inclusive venues that allow everyone (LGBT+ and even heterosexuals), and  those venues have different rules, so these tips will not apply to said venues.

Contrary to popular belief, some of these tips sound cringy, but I know they work because I've  gone to these venues and watched them work. As a gay travel sex writer, sometimes research  happens in person.

Going to the Right Gay Bars

For starters, it's essential to head to the right bars. Head to Le Mensch, SecteurX, Full Metal or  bars like Bears Den.

Once you're at the right venue, everyone is in a cruising mindset, awaiting their next encounter,  creating an atmosphere of less confusion.

Now, let's get into the good stuff.

Body Language Tips

These tips work for both the "flirt" and the "flirtee." But always use your judgment. Remember  that no means no, and rejection is part of the game. You can't be everyone's type.

Here are six body language tips that will send your future lover the perfect signal.

1) The Staredown

Look at the person you're interested in. If they're interested in you, they'll look back. Make eye  contact. Don't be shy. It's a subtle sign, but you must be at a cruise bar. Don't expect this to work  at The Louvre. Outside of a cruise venue, this tactic can come off as creepy.

2) Lick Your Lips

If eye contact is too subtle for you, lick or bite your lips to show your interest. If they are not interested, they'll look away immediately.

3) Walk Up to the Man

Walking up to the person you're interested in is a sure way to let them know. How do you do this  without being obnoxious?

Walk up to the person slowly. Don't rush anyone—inch closer. Most guys prefer having others  make the first pass to avoid confusion.

Therefore, even if you don't speak the same language, chances are you're both there for the same  reason: to get some.

Now, let's say you get to first base and realize you're incompatible (i.e., you're both tops or both  bottoms); a great way to "move on" is to allow others to join you. Most guys like group action,  and if you decide you're not into him, at least you're not leaving him high and dry.

4) Make a Pass

So you've walked up to your handsome stallion and want to make a pass. How do you do so  when you don't speak the same language?

In the world of cruising and cruise venues, it's easy. But it's entirely up to you.

Now that you're standing near the guy, place your hand on their chest or make a gesture towards  their crotch as if you're going to touch them, but slowly. After all, if they're not interested in you,  you want to give them time to stop your hand from making contact.

5) The Booty Pop

If you got it, flaunt it. Pop that booty while glancing in the direction of the person you're  interested in. If he's interested in that booty, he'll make a move.

6) Grab Your Crotch

If someone catches your eye and you want them to approach you, grab your crotch, or rub on it  to insinuate they're turning you on. If they're thirsty for what's in your pants, they'll walk up to  you stat.

Get You Some!

Cruise venues in Paris or Europe differ from venues in the States. The no-judgment mentality  allows for more straightforward behavior, which is why these tips work.

Now that you know how to pick up a guy in Paris using only body language, it's time to explore  everything the city has to offer, including the plethora of horny men.
