How to Get Attention at a Gay Club
Article written by Sam Machado
A gay club is always a gaggle of fun, but how can you make the night more fun? Perhaps, by meeting a hottie on the dance floor who's down for a good time. So what can you do to make yourself more approachable at a club? Here are some tips that will help you out.
Go With Friends
If you're at the club with a few friends, that is definitely going to help get some eyes on you. A lot of guys go to clubs with friends so being around your buddies will help you feel more relaxed and confident. Plus, if there's a guy you see at the end of the bar and you don't know what to say, maybe one of your friends can help you meet him. Plus, being around friends will put you in a casual state of mind and that is bound to look sexier than looking awkward by yourself.
Go Alone
If you go by yourself though, it could be even easier to get attention since there's no one around to distract you. Remember that you're not the only guy at the club who came alone. There are plenty of others around who are on their own too- even the guys with friends might be looking to mingle. So don't assume that going by yourself makes you look desperate. It means you're exploring, enjoying a night out, looking to see where the night takes you and living life to the fullest.
Drink Up!
It helps to have a drink or two. Standing by yourself with nothing to keep you occupied can look strange so holding a drink in your hand shows that you're there to have a good time. Plus, the alcohol in your head will keep you relaxed and drive the awkward tension away. Just don't have too many drinks if it will make you do anything too crazy!
Dress to Impress!
Be sure to wear something snazzy on your night out! Bring in your style that shows who you are whether it's bright and charismatic, dark and mysterious or suave and appealing. A little style will go a long way!
Dance
If you're feeling a little tipsy, get on the floor and show your moves! It doesn't have to be with anyone specific; dancing is fun all on its own. And if someone likes what he sees, maybe he'll make his way over. Or, you might find someone out there you like and you can make your way to him and grind your body against his. Hot, right?
Eye Contact
Make sure you're always on the lookout! Keep your eyes on the dance floor, the bar and the entrance to see who's around. There may be someone around who will catch your eye as long as you keep looking hard enough. And when it happens, make sure to acknowledge him. Don't turn your body away if you get nervous because that makes you look uninterested. Instead, keep the eyes gazing, give him a nod and smile. And if the gazing remains, walk up to him and say hello!
Quit Looking at Your Phone
Remember- you're not going to meet anyone new and exciting if you're going to be glued to a mobile device all night. Live in the moment and all eyes will be all you.
A couple other tips- have an open mind and be yourself. And believe it or not, chances are pretty likely that some guy is checking you out at a distance, but he might be too shy to show it. So party it up, honeys!
